The First Day of the ICT Summit 2023 in Suriname

Today marked a momentous occasion as I had the incredible opportunity to capture the first day of the highly anticipated two-day ICT Summit in Suriname. As the official photographer, I found myself immersed in an atmosphere brimming with excitement and anticipation. With dignitaries, industry leaders, and technology enthusiasts gathering under one roof, this event promised to be a game-changer in the realm of information and communication technology. The opening keynote was delivered by the esteemed chair of the Suriname ICT Association, Anvit Ramlakhan. As his powerful words echoed through the room, one couldn’t help but feel the gravity of the moment. However, the significance of the occasion was further elevated by the presence of His Excellency Chan Santokhi, the President of the Republic of Suriname. President Santokhi, in his address, emphasized the pivotal role of the ICT sector in shaping the future, particularly with regards to the Sustainable Development Goals set for 2030.

As the official photographer of the event, I felt a tremendous sense of responsibility.
