Bambi, aka Xaviera Rijger’s Birthday Photoshoot

Happy Birthday Bambi !

I had the pleasure of shooting with one of my all-time favorite models, the one and only Bambi, also known as Xaviera Rijger. This was not just any ordinary shoot, but it was also Bambi’s birthday photoshoot( She is Turning 30 Today ! ). We have been working together for years, and some of my favorite images are those I created with her.

With the amazing skills of the makeup artist and hair stylist Ashvin Sadhoe, who outdid himself this time, surprising me with a killer look that inspired me, we created magic.

Bambi is not only a beautiful model but also a talented singer, a wonderful mother, Auntie, and strong businesswoman.

For this shoot, we decided to go with three looks. The first was a sexy black dress with a bit of a moody and grown-up vibe. The second was a fun, energetic look with lots of bling and just screaming happiness. And last but not least, we went with a wet look, taking inspiration from the green of Suriname and the rainforest. Bambi looked like a forest goddess or some exotic tropical diva, and it was breathtaking.

The reason I love shooting with Bambi is that she gives me the freedom to be creative. When a client trusts you with creating something exclusive without even knowing the vision, it makes me even more determined to create something special and something we can both be proud of. This shoot was no exception, and the results were outstanding.
